Make a Difference – Give / Learn / Volunteer

Survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and other violent crimes need support, guidance, and the presence of a compassionate person. As a Tralee Crisis Center volunteer, you can make a positive difference in the lives of hurting people in your community. Here’s how:

• Answer the 24-Hour Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Hotline
• Offer hospital accompaniment to sexual assault survivors
• Help educate the public
• Assist with transportation for shelter clients
• Work at the Tralee Thriftique
• Provide clerical support in the office
• Serve on our Board of Directors

Tralee Crisis Center recognizes that many residents in our area are silent victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault. Speaking to schools and civic organizations help us identify victims and survivors and give us an opportunity to provide our services to them.

Call 806-669-1131 to schedule a workshop or speaking engagement. Topics include the dynamics of sexual assault or domestic violence, causes, and consequences, and program services.

Tralee Crisis Center is a non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation funded by federal and state grants and donations from foundations and citizens.
